# How to Generate Referral Link? (For the Referrer)

**Step 1** - Please visit -> <https://app.kanalabs.io/points>, this page opens with a chain selection screen. Please select the blockchain from the list of logos displayed and connect your wallet. Here, I am choosing the Aptos chain and connecting my Martian wallet to the referrals UI.&#x20;

**Step 2** - Once the wallet is successfully connected to the UI, the points program will open by default. Please click on the “Referral Dashboard” button right below the header to visit the referral program page.&#x20;

**Step 3 -** You will now see your referral dashboard page where the referral link is displayed in a Referral Dashboard highlight section. Please share this link with your invites. This page also enables you to keep track of and manage your invites, commissions and points earned.

**Step 4 -** If you scroll down below, you will see the leaderboard section which shows the list of all wallet addresses mapped to your Referral ID and their activity.&#x20;

Note - Please note that the referrer only earns commissions and points for trades placed by invites from the mapped Wallet IDs. In case the invite places a trade from a different crypto wallet you may lose out on earning the commissions for those traders.&#x20;
