How It Works
Commission Structure
As a participant in our referral program, you will earn commissions on trades executed by users you refer. The commission is derived from the platform fees Kana Labs charges on transactions on our DeFi product suite. Commissions are fixed at 50% of the platform fee per transaction on our Kana Trade platform and are credited to the wallet account used to generate your referral link. The commission is credited to your wallet in USDC.
In scenarios where a user referred by you creates their referral link and begins referring new users, you will receive a portion (up to 10%) of the commissions from the activities of their referrals.
Enhanced Commissions for IBs and KOLs
If you are a professional Introducing Broker (IB) or a social media influencer/key opinion leader (KOL) capable of attracting a significant number of users through your referral link, you may qualify for an elevated commission rate of 60% to 80% per transaction. The exact commission percentage will be negotiated between you and our business development team.
As an IB/KOL, if a user you have invited wishes to become a sub-referrer, they can negotiate their commission share with you. This ensures that you continue to receive commissions from the new users invited by your sub-referrals.
Example:
If the main IB/KOL receives a 70% commission on fees from their referrals, and their sub-referrer receives a 50% commission from their referrals, the original IB/KOL will receive a 20% commission from the activity of the sub-referrer's invites.
Team Member and Partner Commissions
Kana Labs team members or partner business developers who bring in new KOLs/IBs are eligible to receive 7% to 10% of the commissions generated from their KOL/IB referrals.

To generate your referral link, please visit the web page below, connect your wallet and click on the "Referral Dashboard" icon. You will be redirected to the referral dashboard page where you can track and manage the earnings from your referrals.

Referral Points and Exclusive Benefits
We encourage our referrers to keep track of their invites and ensure they remain active on our platform. Referrers who guarantee active trading by their invites (e.g., at least one trade per week) are eligible for referral points. These points can be used to gain exclusive benefits such as participation in pre-beta product launches, exclusive NFTs, and redeeming points for Kana tokens post-TGE event. The more invites an IB/KOL brings to our platform, the higher the referral points awarded. A table explaining how the multiplier factor for referral points is allocated according to a number of invites is explained below.

A referral is considered valid when the new user signs up using your referral link, maps the wallet to your referral ID and completes a trade on any of our DeFi products.
